    Structural features and operational requirements of jacketed reactor

    Structure and characteristics: According to the nature of the material, the inner pot of the reactor can be made of carbon steel or stainless steel. There are four types of material heating, including electric heating rod, heat transfer oil, steam, and far-infrared heating. The chemical reactor is composed of a pot body, pot cover, stirrer, transmission shaft, shaft sealing device, transmission device, and other auxiliary bodies.

    Operation requirements: Heating and heating should be slow, especially for several times of heating, attention should be paid to preventing bumping of oil vapor and water vapor. When there is no material in the pot and the pot is empty, it is not allowed to turn on the thermal power supply and the heating oil jacket for commissioning. Circulating heat transfer oil heating cannot be replaced by steam heating. The heat transfer oil circulating heating is suitable for the reactor with more than 500L and the complete set of resin equipment. High working pressure, high working temperature, and working medium should be specified when ordering the above equipment. Other special specifications can be designed separately.

    1. Overall jacket
    Due to historical reasons, the overall jacket has been widely used in the selection of chemical equipment design and has the characteristics of mature processing technology, simple structure, and convenient manufacturing.

    2. Jacket with spiral deflector
    A spiral deflector is set in the jacket. On the one hand, it is used to guide the fluid in the jacket, which can better heat or cool the materials in the container; thin. This is of great significance for saving materials and reducing equipment costs.

    3. Helical semicircular pipe jacket
    Half-round pipe jacket is a special jacket. Its structure is divided into the spiral type and tube type according to the arrangement form and can be divided into the standard semicircular pipe and arcuate pipe according to the shape of the semicircular pipe. Compared with jacketed vessels of other structures, semi-circular pipe jacketed vessels have the following characteristics:
    (1) Compared with the overall jacket, the structure is simple and the pressure bearing capacity is strong, which can improve the strength and rigidity of the container against external pressure and facilitate maintenance.
    (2) The use of the helical semi-circular pipe jacket structure can effectively reduce the design wall thickness, save materials and reduce equipment material costs without changing the operating state of the container.
    (3) The maximum outer diameter of the container using the helical semi-circular pipe jacket is smaller than that of the ordinary jacket, the structure is compact, the floor space is small, and the operating space can be saved, thereby saving equipment investment.
